Dear TIK Families, 

For families new to TIK, here is an introduction so that you learn a bit more about me:
I was born in England and grew up in Canada. My parents were very adventurous so by the time I was five years old I had visited 14 countries. I have continued with that spirit of wanting to learn more about our world so moved to Asia ten years ago. 
I am an educational leader, specializing in early childhood education, with over 20 years of experience of which 10 have been in South East Asia at international schools. For my last posting, I was Principal of a Canadian international school overseeing three campuses with over 330 young children. 
Outside of school I enjoy traveling, reading (often about children!), and going for walks that end up in good places to eat. I love to ride my bike, swim, ski, and do yoga. I value creativity, curiosity, and kindness.
Building strong relationships with parents and children is very important to me so I’m looking forward to getting to know you all and becoming part of the TIK community!

TIK にご入学頂きましたご家族の皆様に改めまして以下、自己紹介をさせて頂ければと思います。

私はイングランドで生まれ、カナダで育ちました。 両親はとても冒険心に溢れた人で、4歳の時にはすでに14カ国程訪れた事がありました。 私自身もその心を継いで世界をもっと知りたいという思いで10年前にアジアへ越して参り ました。

私は教育リーダーであり、幼児教育の専門家でもあります。 前職はカナディアンインターナショナルスクールの校長として330名以上の子ども達を抱える3つのキ ャンパスを管理しておりました。

私生活では、旅行、読書(大抵子どもについて!)散歩 (気づくと美味しいお店に辿りついています)を楽しみます。また、自転車に乗ったり、水泳、スキー、ヨガなども好きです。 創造性、好奇心、そして思いやりを大切にしております。

保護者の皆様、そしてお子様と良い関係を築いてゆくことはとても大切な事であると考え ておりますので皆様とお会いできること、そして TIK コミュニティーのメンバーの一員と なりますことを今から楽しみにしております。どうぞよろしくお願い致します。
