The kindergarten children at Denen learn in a very hands-on manner! They finger-painted to create the planet Mars, and made collages using a variety of materials to represent ocean plants and sea creatures. Their fine motor skills are refined by engaging in activities such as pinching eye droppers and making pictures using iron-on beads. They also quiz one another on new vocabulary related to the learning themes and print words in coloured sand or with pipe cleaners. These sensory experiences deepen their learning!
